Photography to the rhythm of the mountains Welcome to the Clarée Valley. Here in Névache, nature speaks in hushed tones, between larch forests, crystal-clear streams and silent peaks. It's in this unspoilt natural setting that I place my eye and my lens. As a field photographer, I capture the changing lights, the still winters, the discreet blooms, the underwater landscapes - my speciality... And above all, the living beauty of this fragile territory.
Névache and the Clarée Valley in pictures
La Clarée is a hidden gem in the Hautes-Alpes region. Listed as a "remarkable natural site," it offers landscapes of rare intensity in all seasons.
My images are taken on foot, throughout the seasons, sometimes at dawn, often after a long walk. They tell:
the purity of the water, in the icy meanders or the spring waterfalls,
the low light of autumn on the mountain pastures,
the discreet presence of life: chamois, foxes, tits or wild orchids,
the vernacular architecture of Névache and the high-altitude hamlets.
Each photograph seeks to capture the emotion of a moment, the simplicity of a breath in the landscape.

My photographic approach is documented, but also sensory. I am as interested in the biology of environments as I am in light on frosted bark.
