An artistic perspective at the heart of life
The We Are Corals series explores the intimate connection between humans and marine ecosystems. Each portrait is an immersion into a world where humans blend with the texture of coral. A fusion of biology and art, science and emotion.
Born from a fascination with coral reefs and many years of underwater exploration, this photographic project highlights the vulnerability and resilience of both corals and the human beings who depend on them.
I am both a marine biologist and a photographer. My work draws on over 15 years of experience in marine conservation and an artistic approach rooted in current events. Through the We Are Corals series, I seek to raise awareness without being offensive, to awaken without inducing guilt.
Far from conventional portraits, I try to offer a hybrid vision, where photography becomes a tool for dialogue between art and ecology.

What happens during a We Are Corals session?
1. First exchange - 30 minutes
During our first contact, we will discuss the project, the desired style, and the choice of coral that will serve as inspiration for your portrait.
2. Preparation - 30 minutes
I talk to you about coral, your coral, and we discuss things to make you feel comfortable and so that your portrait fits naturally into the We Are Corals series.
3 Photo session - 1 hour
A studio session in Lyon or anywhere in France, in a setting conducive to creating a strong and immersive portrait.
4 Post-production & rendering - 1 day
Each image is carefully crafted to seamlessly blend your portrait with the chosen coral. You will receive your photograph in high definition, along with a unique, signed, and framed fine art print.
