Water curvature is part of the WATER-ORIGIN series, a photographic work dedicated to fresh water as the origin of life, a force of connection and a source of wonder.

Created in an alpine aquatic environment , this work reveals water in a more subtle, almost graphic form. Beneath the surface, the current traces supple lines. Water no longer appears simply as a flow: it becomes abrasive and offers its own inscription of time.

Through this image, Martin Colognoli invites us to contemplate how water shapes space by its mere presence. It follows the contours of the land, bypasses obstacles, and invents its own lines.

In this curve one can read an intelligence of movement, an active gentleness, a way of inhabiting the world without ever ceasing to transform it.
