 The color photograph was taken in Komodo National Park , Indonesia . This photograph reveals a perfectly healthy coral reef, teeming with shapes, textures, and hues that express all the vitality of the marine world.




 Through this image, Martin Colognoli reminds us of a simple truth: color is life. Here, the reef appears as a space of abundance and balance, patiently built by living organisms. This visual richness also speaks to the biological richness of an ecosystem upon which many life forms depend, including humans.
