Eau-rigine is part of the series of the same name, dedicated to fresh water as the origin of life, a force of connection and a source of wonder.

Taken in an alpine aquatic environment , this photograph reveals a face sculpted by water and time. Beneath the surface, the mineral matter seems to come alive, as if the current had slowly etched a silent presence into the rock.

With Eau-rigine , Martin Colognoli invites us to contemplate water as a power of transformation, capable of revealing unexpected forms and bringing forth, at the heart of matter, a memory of life.
