SEA FLOWERS III was shot in Bali , Indonesia , in the first light of dawn. On the surface of the water, the coral displays an almost floral texture, which the dawn light gently reveals.

Through this image, Martin Colognoli continues his exploration of coral as living architecture. The textures, reliefs, and growth of the colonies become the focus of the view, as if the reef were being built before our eyes in a movement that is both slow and profoundly organic.

This work invites us to pay attention to the richness of coral form, its structural power as well as its fragility. It offers a more tactile experience of the reef, where light, water, and living matter converge in a single presence.

With SEA FLOWERS III , the artist deepens a photographic work around coral as a territory of beauty, growth and revelation, between sensitive observation and ecological awareness.
